Parc Asterix

Last weekend some friends and I went to Parc Asterix. It's a type of amusement park outside of Paris. Unfortunately the weather was really unpleasant and we weren't able to enjoy all the water rides (there were four). But the park has some really good roller coasters.

I'm glad I went because I've wanted to go since I got here. Asterix is a famous French comic/cartoon that all French people know and love and I wanted to see the park before I left but I have to admit, I prefer EuroDisney. Maybe it's because I am American or maybe EuroDisney's just better, but I would definitely go back to Disney and I have no desire to visit Asterix again. Tickets to the two parks cost about the same so if I'm going to spend that kind of money (around 60 dollars) I think I'd prefer spending the day at Disney.

I just realized that my last post was almost a year ago. I am still alive and kicking. Unfortunately, I do a lot of freelance now so when I am done for the day, I have no desire to sit at the computer and write. But I am going to try to be better!
