I really have been busy lately, but nothing exciting enough to blog about. I have been working like crazy, editing a book, raising money for Habitat, going to the gym and enjoying the few days of sunshine we have been granted.
I only have two weeks left at the University, one week before the two week April vacation and one after. Still don't have a job for September and I have no idea what I am going to do. Oddly enough, I am not really stressed about it yet.
Right now I am just really concerned about where and how I am going to go on vacation. I am leaning towards Croatia, but I want to go somewhere warm and cheap. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you're busy with some awesome stuff!
I've heard only good things about holidaying in Croatia. But if you want somewhere warm and cheap, how about Turkey or Cyprus? We used to get some really great deals for Turkey from the UAE, not sure how it works from Paris.
I've heard great things about Croatia. It's definitely on my list. It was a consideration for vacation next month, but it didn't make the cut.
Editing a book? That sounds pretty interesting. What kind of book is it?
I am sure that you will be able to find a job by September, especially if you are looking in Paris.
Vacation? What's that? It's been so long since I have been on one.
We live pretty close to Belgium. It's cheap, but it's not warm. I guess it wouldn't be considered much a a vacation!
Warm and affordable vacation: I'm stumped! I know a lot of Americans go to Mexico for warm and cheap but don't think that'll work from Paris : (
Let us know the winning holiday destination!
Let's see...I know people who love Croatia and Turkey, but they have local connections so I don't know if that really changes things. I know someone else who went to Malta and had a blast, but I don't know how cheap it is. Ahhhh...vacations. Let us know what you decide!
if i've said it once, i've said it a million times.
NORTH CAROLINA! :)
I've heard Croatia is pretty amazing too. Have fun planning!
Beenzzz-Thanks, I am.
Lotus-Thanks for the advice.
Geggie-Why didn't it make the cut?
Deb-Have you been to Belgium?
Pam-Yeah, Mexico is kind of out of the question.
Pardon-Ah Malta, I hope I get there some day!
Melissa-Don't be surprised if I show up on your doorstep some day.
anali-So have I.
Oh yeah, been to Belgium. It's pretty close to where we live. It just looks like an extension of France. My husband told me you have to go to Brussels to see any real difference.
ohh well everyone gets busy .. but all work and no play makes jack a dull boy :) .. do you edit books as a freelancer or through a publisher?
