Lady of Leisure
Okay, so I know I keep bragging about my new work schedule, but the first term was nearly unendurable. I was so sure France had it in for me. Now I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and that I am really on a six month vacation. I have had at least 2 concurrent jobs for as long as I can remember so only having to work 2 days a week for the next ten weeks is a dream come true for me. Anyway, today was beautiful. The sun was shining and it was about 7 degrees. It was a perfect day to walk around and I spent most of the day on Ile de la Cité. I went to Notre Dame (see following entry) because I wanted to see the stained glass windows when the afternoon sun hit them. I also wanted to enjoy the Marché aux Fleurs et aux Oiseaux (flowers and birds). This market is one of the few flower markets left in Paris and it is really beautiful. The picture of the river is the Seine. It surrounds Ile de la Cité and I really enjoy crossing over it. I finished the day with a world famous cup of hot chocolate at Angelina's behind the Louvre and then dinner at my favorite sushi resturant with my friend Seb. Perfect day!

Thanks for the tour of Paris and surrounding areas. Would love to see it someday but probably will never make it. Never the less, I enjoyed your view point.
